What is Pod?
Founded in 2014, the Pod project has undergone many changes in recent years. Initiated at the University of Lille, it has been led by the Esup Portail consortium since September 2015 and also supported by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
The project and platform, which bear the same name, aim to facilitate the provision of videos and thereby encourage their use in teaching and research (ESR). The platform is used by more than fifty higher education institutions, as well as academies and institutes. Finally, it is offered to the entire National Education system via the Apps portal.
